Pictured On This Page: Mentor9s Sixth Grade Camp is a long-standing tradition that gives students the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect
beyond the classroom. Through team-building activities, outdoor exploration, and shared experiences, students build confidence, independence,
and lasting friendships. Mentor High School students play an important role in this experience, too3 serving as camp counselors and role models
while gaining leadership experience and community service hours. Alongside our dedicated staff members who also attend camp, our older
students help create a fun-filled environment for our sixth graders and great memories that will last a lifetime!
>> At the high school level, students have more than 40 different clubs and activities
available in which to participate. At the middle school level, students have more than
15 clubs and activities available to them.
>> The high school has specialized clubs and activities aimed at raising awareness
surrounding mental health and bullying issues.
>> Each of the middle schools also has clubs for students to spread a message of
kindness and compassion throughout the school and community.
>>Many of our anti-bullying initiatives include peer-to-peer messaging, which can be
a powerful tool. This is reflected in our student-led Kindness Rallies and Stick
Together program, as examples.
>> At the middle school level, students are also supported through Where Everybody
Belongs (WEB), where trained eighth grade student leaders mentor every incoming
sixth grader4helping ensure a strong start and a sense of belonging from day one.
>> Mentor High School students lead the Sparkle Cheerleaders program, also known
as Mentor Sparkles. Sparkles is an inclusion cheerleading squad where students with
special needs work with their typically-developing peers to root for the Cardinals at
various games and events throughout the school year.
>>High school students operate a successful online newspaper called Cardinal
Nation that is available within the school and to the public.
